Box Score Goldey-Beacom women's soccer hosted Molloy for the first home game of the 2025 season, but were dealt an 0-3 loss in Wilmington, DE.
The first half saw Molloy come out strong and score two goals, the first by Olivia Ingenito in the 23rd minute, assisted by Marissa Tonic. The second came in the 31st minute on an unassisted free kick by Bella Juliano. The Lightning had opportunities to score in the half, taking five shots, but coming up short.
Ingenito gave Molloy their third goal and her second of the game in the 61st minute, which was assisted by Isabella Muro on a cross kick. Goldey-Beacom continued the pressure on the offensive end in the second half, taking four more shots, but could not prevail in finding the back of the net.
The Lightning were led by sophomore Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, N.J.) and Jessica Jensen (Las Vegas, N.V.), who both took two shots apiece. Freshman Malaika Nunziata (Cape Town, South Africa) finished with four saves.
Goldey-Beacom plays next on Tuesday, where they travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh, PA to open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play against Chestnut Hill at 7:00pm.
