Goldey-Beacom baseball picked up its sixth win of the season with a 7-6 victory over Bloomsburg at Doyle Field in Hockessin, DE.

Bloomsburg opened the scoring in the first inning when Christian LaBarbera singled through the right side and batted in Jeremy Cawley. The Lightning added their first run in the bottom of the first when senior Jaden Dickerson (New Castle, DE) walked with bases loaded, scoring Braden Kolmansberger (Lewisberry, Pa.).

Bloomsburg scored another run in the second inning when Corey Daniels advanced to home on a wild pitch. Goldey-Beacom added three more runs in the bottom of the second off a single to center field from Kolmansberger to send Adam McEvoy (Sewell, N.J.) home and a single from Zach Smethers (Nazareth, PA) to center field that led Kolsmanberger and Anthony Charles home (Mullica Hill, N.J.). Kolmansberger added another RBI in the bottom of the third when he grounded out to shortstop to advance Bobby Stewart (Newark, DE) to home plate.

Bloomsburg scored in the fourth when Cawley grounded out to third and sent Josh Wilson to score. The bottom of the fourth saw Dante DiSabatino (Middletown, DE) pick up an RBI and create the scoring opportunity for Mitch Jolikko (Middletown, DE).
