Track & Field Excels at the Widener Indoor Classic

Goldey-Beacom produced more outstanding performances in continuing its 2025 campaign at the Widener Indoor Classic in Philadelphia.
 
Senior Kosiani Dunkley (Kingston, Jamaica), last year's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion in the 800-meter run, captured the mile by closing in 4:16.58.  Senior Dev Napier (Hagerstown, MD), league champion in the 100-meter dash, grabbed second in the 200-meter dash in 21.91 seconds and third in the 60-meter dash at 6.85 seconds.
 
Junior Xachary Tucker (Middletown, DE) took fourth in the 60-meter dash in 6.86 seconds, sophomore Chris Robinson (Philadelphia, PA) was 12th in the 400-meter dash in 50.31 seconds and freshman Ty'Shawn Ewings (Harrisburg, PA) closed 12th in the high jump at 6' 2".
 
The women's side featured senior Savannah Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) ending 10th in the high jump at 4' 11" and freshman Liv Drewling (Dusseldorf, Germany) closing 13th in the event at 4' 11" on a judge's decision.
 
Freshman Dominique Lewis (Salem, NJ) was 15th in the weight throw at 42' 9" and the women's 4x400-meter relay squad was 15th in 4:29.53.  That unit was comprised of Drewling, senior Ny'jashia Smith (Newark, DE), freshman Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, NJ) and senior Izzy Popoff (Cicero, NY).
 
Goldey-Beacom returns to action Friday at the Penn State Tune-Up in University Park, PA.
