Women's Track & Field Sees Solid Performances at West Point Twilight

Goldey-Beacom had six athletes make the trip to West Point to compete in a final meet before heading to the NCAA Championships.

On the men's side, senior Dev Napier (Hagerstown, Md.) once again claimed a first place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.72 seconds. In the 400 meter dash, sophomore Chris Robinson (Philadelphia, Pa) notched a sixth place finish with a time of 51.05 seconds. The 400 meter hurdles saw sophomore Jalen Wright (Wilmington, DE) take fifth place with 57.51 seconds. In the field events, freshman Ty'Shawn Ewings (Harrisburg, Pa) claimed second place in high jump with a jump of 1.96m. 

For the women, freshman Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, N.J.) notched a first place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.53 seconds and took second place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.66 seconds. Sophomore Jourdyn Rumph (Ardmore, Pa) placed sixth in shot put with a throw of 11.43m.
