William Kelly Wins the CACC Men’s Golf Top XVI Award

Goldey-Beacom senior William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) earned the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's highest honor as a student-athlete in being named the Men's Golf winner of the Top XVI Award.

The award goes to the individual who has the highest GPA on one of the competing teams at the finals site of each CACC Championship, similar to the NCAA Elite 90 Award.

Kelly is the 10th Goldey-Beacom student-athlete to win this honor and the first since Justin Jump captured it for baseball in 2024.

An All-CACC Team member in 2023-24, Kelly this season has put together another strong campaign. He closed tied for seventh at this week's CACC Championship with 237, including a second-round 75. This came after he won the Jefferson Invitational on September 25 by shooting a one-under-par 69.

Kelly is a two-time member of the CACC All-Academic Team and in 2024 was tabbed College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
