Goldey-Beacom men's soccer honored their four seniors, Emanuel Bustos (Miami, FL), Sean Dickie (Aberdeen, Scotland), Derrick Muhire (Kigali, Rwanda), and Jamel Yasin (Sewell, N.J.), before the match against Jefferson, but unfortunately the Rams came away with the 3-1 victory.

Jefferson was the first to score in the 23rd minute on a goal from Diego Guzman that was assisted by Mohamed Elhendawy. The Lightning were able to even the score after halftime in the 60th minute when sophomore Daniel Granado (Seville, Spain) found fellow sophomore Johs Herden (Osnabrück, Germany) in front of the goal for his third of the season.

The Rams scored again in the 64th minute on a free kick from Paul Nedeoglo that found the bottom right corner of the goal to make the score 2-1. Jefferson topped off their scoring when Mike Cancelliere scored his first goal of the season on a deflected shot from Diego Guzman.

Sophomore Pedro Montanes (Zaragoza, Spain) had two saves for GBC and JR Exton finished with three saves for Jefferson.

Goldey-Beacom plays next on Wednesday, when they play Georgian Court at the Nancy Churchman Sawin Field in Wilmington, DE for a 3:00pm match.
