Goldey-Beacom men's soccer played Post on the road in Waterbury, CT, and walked away with a 1-1 tie after a late goal in the final minutes of play from Post.
The Lightning opened the scoring in the 33rd minute when senior Brandon Delgado (Guadalajara, Mexico) found the back of the net on the assist from fellow senior Derrick Muhire (Kigali, Rwanda) and sophomore Sam Ball (Salisbury, Md.).
The Lightning were looking to finish the game with a victory, but a late goal from Post's Luis Rodrigues in the 88th minute of play led to a draw.
Senior Jamel Yasin (Sewell, N.J.) finished with 10 saves for the Lightning.
Goldey-Beacom plays next on Tuesday, when it faces Jefferson at 3:00 pm at the Nancy Churchman Sawin Field in Wilmington, DE.
