Volleyball Keeps Rolling With 3-1 Victory at Dominican (NY)

Goldey-Beacom in the final three sets had everything on full throttle and was on its way to a 3-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory (21-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22) at Dominican in Orangeburg, NY.

Goldey-Beacom in the second set righted itself by ending on an 8-6 run to square the match.  Sophomore Gabi Fullwood (Powder Springs, GA) once again was one of the focal points in getting three kills during the spurt with freshman Alana Scott (Gaithersburg, MD) and junior Kloe Waymel (Mulhouse, France) notching one apiece.

Fullwood again was at it in the third, pounding five kills in helping her squad own a 17-13 edge with a .469 attack percentage.  Waymel and Baylee Brin (Salina, KS) notched four apiece with fellow junior Giuliana Jaku (Belluno, Italy) adding three.

The Lightning (10-8, 4-2 CACC) put away things in the fourth with 12 kills, forcing the Chargers into eight errors and a .030 percentage.  Brin had four kills in the set, helping her squad to their seventh victory in the last eight matches.

Fullwood pounded 14 kills and is averaging 12.7 over her last seven matches.  Brin had 12 kills, sophomore Juliana Malena (Miami, FL) dished 29 assists, freshman Kelci Gingras (Orem, UT) recorded nine kills and 10 digs, Gaby Fernandez (Arecibo, PR) recorded 19 digs, fellow sophomore Ada Koksal (Istanbul, Turkiye) had 17 assists and Waymel added eight kills.
