(men's schedule) / (women's schedule)

Goldey-Beacom's track & field programs continue to be on the upswing and things should stay the course with many talented student-athletes returning for the 2025 season.

GBC opens things January 31 at the Terrier Classic and sees its indoor campaign continue with meets at Widener, Penn and Penn State.  The outdoor season starts March 8 at Salisbury.

The squads on March 22 go to the Purple & Gold Invitational in West Chester before many head south the following week for the Raleigh Relays at North Carolina State.

April features the UD Invite and a trip to Princeton on the same day before the Oscar Moore Invitational the following week at Rowan.  GBC then goes to the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener from April 18-19 before the prestigious Penn Relays from April 24-26.

The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships are May 2-3 in Lakewood, NJ and the NCAA Championships are May 22-24 in Pueblo, CO.

Senior Kosiani Dunkley (Kingston, Jamaica) represented one of the Lightning's four individual conference titles last year on the men's side and looks to continue giving the program a lift.  One of the hardest workers among all student-athletes and a great teammate, Dunkley was the CACC champion in the 800-meter run and closed second in the 1,500-meter run among his five top-five finishes.

Dunkley last fall ended sixth at the CACC Cross Country Championship and 28th at the NCAA East Regional.

Senior Dev Napier (Hagerstown, MD) also brought home gold from the conference meet and he too seeks to score more points come May.  Among his 13 top-10 showings included winning the 100-meter dash at the CACC Championship, ending third in the 200-meter dash at the same meet, taking first in the 100-meter dash at the Delaware Invitational and second in the 200-meter dash that day.

Sophomore Jalen Wright (Wilmington, DE) made a name for himself at the CACC Championship, closing third in the 400-meter hurdles after notching the best time in the preliminaries.  He won the 400-meter hurdles at the Bill Butler Invitational and helped the 4x400-meter relay squad end second at the CACC Championship.

Junior Xachary Tucker (Middletown, DE) is another key to the team's success after ending fifth in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the CACC Championship.  He also was third in the 4x100-meter dash at the Larry Ellis Invitational and fourth in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the Delaware Invitational.

The other two conference titles belong to the graduated Ashwin Jood, who closed seventh in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Championship after he won the 200 and 400 at the CACC Championship.  All of this helped the Lightning end a school-best third at the CACC Championship.

The women's squad is led by senior Karla Chardon (Penns Grove, NJ), who has been remarkable for the Lightning in winning the 2022 and 2023 CACC javelin titles.  She took second in the event last year among her three top-10 showings at the league meet and won the javelin at the WCU Tune-Up.

Senior Savannah Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) recorded nine top-10 finishes a season ago and looks to continue being a major factor.  She won the high jump at the WCU Tune-Up, closed third in the high jump at the CACC Championship and fourth in the 4x100-meter dash at the same meet.

Senior Ny'Jashia Smith (Newark, DE) has been one the school's top runners the last three years and looks to make her senior campaign even better.  Last spring saw her get five top-10 finishes that included sixth in the steeplechase and seventh in the 4x400-meter dash.  The fall saw Smith close eighth at the CACC Championship and 27th at the NCAA East Regional.

Junior Madison McGowan (Bristow, VA) has been one of the program's elite throwers since stepping foot in Pike Creek.  A tremendous athlete who also has a solid work ethic, she has eight top-10 showings last spring that included eighth in the shot put at the CACC Championship.

The women's team ended sixth at last year's CACC Championship.
