Goldey-Beacom made the trip to Boston, MA as it opened the 2025 indoor season at the Terrier Classic.
The Lightning saw three athletes compete in field events. Freshman Liv Drewling (Düsseldorf, Germany) exceled in her first meet by closing 12th in the high jump at 1.55m (5'1"). Juniors Jourdyn Rumph (Admore, PA) and Madison McGowan (Bristow, VA) both competed in the shot put, with Rumph placing 20th at 10.48m (34'4.75") and McGowan ending 22nd with her throw of 10.17m (33'4.5").
On the track in the 60-meter dash, senior Karla Chardon (Penns Grove, NJ) placed 23rd in 8.20 seconds and freshman Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, N.J.) placed 31st in 8.32 seconds. Chardon and Dixon both also competed in the 200-meter dash with Dixon placing 90th in 27.49 seconds and Chardon 107th in 27.90 seconds.
Wrapping the day for Goldey-Beacom, Drewling and fellow freshman Aiyanna Adams (Pittsburgh, PA) both competed in the 800-meter run. Drewling saw a 109th place finish with 2.25.36 and Adams closed 144th with 2.51.38.
Goldey-Beacom travels to Chester, PA on February 14 to compete at the Widener Indoor Classic, with events beginning at 5pm.
