Goldey-Beacom showed off great passing and offensive abilities in their 3-0 win against Staten Island at Banning Park.
Senior Angela Lee (Warren, R.I.) opened up the scoring for the Lightning in the 35th minute by scoring a goal off of a Staten Island defender. This was her first goal of the season. 
Senior Alex Lowry (Wenonah, N.J.) scored early in the second half in the 48th minute off an assist from Freshman Diana Luna Lopez (Wilmington, DE). Sophomore Lexy Yeager finished off the scoring for GBC in the 80th minute. Lowry and Yeager both added their first goals of the season in the victory.
Goldey-Beacom dominated on the offensive end taking 17 shots, compared to Staten Island's seven. Lowry led with four shots and Freshman Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, N.J.) added three shots of her own. Goalie Nikki Cashin (Ridley, Pa.) finished with three saves.
It also marked the first collegiate victory for Mitch Kazanjian as head coach.
Isabella Radovini had two shots and goalie Oksana Zahima had three saves for Staten Island.
Goldey-Beacom is back on the road on Saturday, beginning CACC play by taking on Bridgeport at noon in Bridgeport, CT.
