Goldey-Beacom volleyball played an impressive match and defeated Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponent Jefferson in straight sets (25-20, 25-19, 25-12) in Philadelphia, PA.
Senior Piper Nanouski led all hitters with 14 kills, having only two errors on the night. She had an impressive .429 hitting percentage with senior Caitlyn Burch (Mechanicsville, Md.) hitting a strong .474 and adding 10 kills of her own. 
Freshman Gaby Fernandez (Arecibo, P.R.) led the defense with 16 digs. Junior Giuliana Jaku (Frontin, Italy) also had an impressive defensive match, adding 14 digs and seven kills. Freshman Ada Koksal (Istanbul, Turkiye) finished with 30 assists for GBC.
Morgan Ritchie led for Jefferson with 12 kills and Cameron Johnson had 11 digs.
This marks the first time Goldey-Beacom has defeated Jefferson since November 5, 2005.
Goldey-Beacom faces Post on Friday at 3pm in Waterbury, CT to continue conference play.
