Goldey-Beacom Men's Soccer was outscored 2-0 against Post and dropped their second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match of the season.
The first half saw equal play from both teams, with the Lightning taking four shots and Post taking three. Despiste GBC's defensive efforts, Diego Righi was able to put Post on the board in the 37th minute when he beat his defender off the dribble for his second goal of the season.
The second half saw more offensive pressure from the Eagles of Post and they were able to score their second goal of the game in the 79th minute when Fabian Ernst capitalized on an open net off a pass from Diego Righi.
The Lightning were unable to come back from the deficit and remained scoreless in the game. Freshman Ogün Ünal (Frankfurt, Germany) and junior Emanuel Bustos (Miami, FL) led for GBC in shots, taking 2 a piece. Goalie Jamel Yasin (Woodbury, N.J.) ended with three saves.
Goldey-Beacom plays again at home on Tuesday, where they take on Holy Family at 3:30pm.
