Men’s Soccer Falls, 2-0, at Felician



Goldey-Beacom had its sights set on a victory in North Jersey, but left with a 2-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference setback at Felician in Livingston, NJ.
 
The Golden Falcons opened the scoring in the eighth minute, when Alex Ramos found the back of the net.  Felician Hugo Rodriguez gave his side a 2-0 lead in the 59th minute off a feed from Tim Jaeger.
 
Ogun Unal (Frankfurt, Germany) had two shots and fellow freshman Pedro Montanes (Zaragoza, Spain) closed with three saves for the Lightning (3-9, 2-4 CACC).
 
Rodriguez amassed four shots and Emanuele Moretti had two saves for the Golden Falcons (9-2-1, 4-1-1).
 
Goldey-Beacom next Saturday faces Dominican (NY) as part of a doubleheader with the women's team.  Game time is at 2:30 pm, which follows the noon contest between the same schools.
