Men’s Soccer Falls, 4-1, to Bridgeport



Junior Colby Niggebrugge (Middletown, DE) scored a late goal for Goldey-Beacom, which was handed a 4-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss by Bridgeport at Banning Park in Wilmington, DE.
 
Maximilian Kissel was the story for Bridgeport (3-3-2, 2-0 CACC), getting a natural hat trick to give his squad a 3-0 lead.  Alex Tan got the assist in the 20th minute, Josef Preci notched the helper in the 70th minute and John Louis joined the assist column in the 76th minute.
 
Preci closed his three-point game by scoring in the 81st minute for a 4-0 lead.
 
Niggebrugge in the 86th minute recorded his first goal with the Navy Blue and Vegas Gold.  Oliver Person put a free kick near the goal and Niggebrugge got a head on it to close the scoring.
 
Goldey-Beacom (2-4-1, 0-1-1) next Saturday is at Dominican (NY) as part of a doubleheader with the women's team.  Game time is at 2:30 pm, which follows the women's noon contest.
