Men's and Women's Cross Country returned to the course in Galloway, NJ to compete in the Stockton Season Opener, with the men closing fifth and the women finishing sixth.
 
In the men's six-kilometer race, junior Kosiani Dunkley (Kingston, Jamaica) made an immediate impact for the team, leading the way in 14^th with a time of 19:15.55.  
 
Senior Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) continued his strong presence, closing in 19:44.25 to place 26^th with freshman John Ferry (Rising Sun, MD) ending closely behind in 35^th place with a time of 19:58.78.
 
Senior Chris Crossen (Magnolia, DE) came across the line in 54^th with a time of 20:47.32, and fellow senior Kyle Scherer (Wilmington, DE) closely followed with a time of 20:55.10 in 57^th place.
 
Junior Yusef Shakur (Townsend, DE) and freshman Felipe Henao (Bogota, Colombia) placed 72^nd and 73^rd respectively with times of 22:42.26 and 22:44.59. Junior DJ Farren (Lewes, DE) placed 78^th in a time of 23:20.62, and junior Tymi Ash-Shaheed (Middletown, DE) finished in a time of 23:25.67.
 
Seniors Ty Moss (Newark, NJ) and Erik Guyer (Middletown, DE) wrapped up the team finish in places 88^th and 89^th with times of 26:45.38 and 27:03.76.
 
In the women's five-kilometer, junior Ny'jashia Smith led the team in a time of 23:13.37 to place 37^th. Junior Madelynn Cool (Smyrna, DE) finished close behind in 41^st place with a time of 23:13.37,
 
Freshman Kamillah Monroque and junior Maddie Minnick (Wilmington, DE) placed 46^th and 47^th respectively in times of 23:28.10 and 23:32.01, while sophomore Haley Schofield (Wilmington, DE) ran a time of 24:07.38 to place 51^st.
 
Goldey-Beacom head to Philadelphia, PA on next Saturday to race at the Philadelphia Metro Championship, with the women beginning at 9:00 am and the men at 9:45 am.
