Goldey-Beacom made its return to Philadelphia, PA with both men's and women's teams in fine form to compete in their respective Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships.
 
The men, who have seen an impressive season, placed third with 80 points in the eight-kilometer race, behind Wilmington (DE) and Georgian Court. The women's side placed fifth overall in the five-kilometer race with 108 points, the first top five finish in 10 years.
 
Senior Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) and junior Kosiani Dunkley (Kingston, Jamaica) closed within seconds of each other in eighth and ninth place. Landvik-Larsen finished ahead with a time of 28:01.1, with Dunkley ending in 28:17.1.
 
Freshman John Ferry (Rising Sun, MD) saw a strong race, placing 13^th with a time of 28:38.1. Seniors Chris Crossen (Magnolia, DE) and Kyle Scherer (Wilmington, DE) placed 24^th and 26^th respectively with times of 30:10.8 and 30:31.5.
 
Juniors Micah White (Plainfield, NJ) and Yusef Shakur (Townsend, DE) rounded out the men's team, closing in times of 31:33.9 and 31:56.4 to place 34^th and 42^nd.

Landvik-Larsen, Ferry and Dunkley were all named to the All-Conference team. 
 
Junior Ny'jashia Smith (Newark, DE), who has been the front runner for the women's side this year, ran an exciting race and became the first all-conference runner since 2003. Smith placed fourth in a time of 20:56.1, just two seconds behind third place.
 
Junior Kamillah Monroque placed 20^th in a time of 22:33.0, while juniors Madelynn Cool (Smyrna, DE) and Maddie Minnick (Wilmington, DE) ran times of 22:47.5 and 22:51.1 to place 24^th and 25^th respectively.
 
Sophomore Haley Schofield (Wilmington, DE) rounded out the women's scores, finishing in 35^th place in a time of 23:36.3.
 
Goldey-Beacom awaits the NCAA East Regional seedings as it closes this year's regular season.
