Men's Soccer Notches 3-0 Triumph at Bloomfield



Goldey-Beacom continued with their winning ways in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play with a 3-0 win at Bloomfield in Bloomfield, NJ.
 
Senior Eduardo Coimbra (Curitiba, Brazil) continues to make a statement, notching his sixth and seventh goals of the season. His first came in the 24th minute, assisted by junior Dominique Ojeil (Falkenburg, Sweden).
 
Coimbra struck for a second time in the 67th minute after receiving an assist from junior Sincere Kato (Woodbury, NJ).
 
Junior Pedro Maia (Joao Pessoa, Brazil) closed out the scoring in the 84th minute to secure the 3-0 Lightning triumph.
 
Coimbra, who has been listed to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll twice in the last three weeks, now sits with seven goals, five assists, and 19 points on the season.
 
Coimbra closed with five goals and junior Henry Lidstrom (Stockholm, Sweden) added three for GBC (5-7-1, 3-3-1 CACC).
 
Matthew Stewart and Yefry Rodriguez had three shots, with Jomar Vizcaino closing with four saves for Bloomfield (1-10-0, 0-7-0 CACC).
 
Goldey-Beacom host Jefferson on Wednesday in a 3:30 pm matchup at Nancy Churchman Sawin Field in Wilmington, DE.
