Goldey-Beacom again continued to show major improvement and got great play all around in a 3-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss (13-25, 28-26, 17-25, 14-25) at Caldwell in Caldwell, NJ.

Goldey-Beacom in the second set limited Caldwell to a .146 hitting percentage and ended it on a 10-6 run to even the match.  Sophomore Piper Nanouski (Ottawa, IL) and freshman Megan Chesser (Grove City, OH) each had five kills in the set as part of 13 for the Lightning.

The third was another battle in which the schools drew even with 10 kills, but eight errors for the visitors as opposed to four for the home side were the difference.  Nanouski and freshman Nina Bongiovanni (San Tan Valley, AZ) amassed three kills apiece.

Nanouski pounded 12 kills, Chesser had 10, senior Autumn Spendlove (Las Vegas, NV) dished 30 assists, Bongiovanni recorded a season-best 24 digs and freshman Claudia Camporro (Gijon, Spain) added 17 for GBC (0-15, 0-4 CACC).
