Six More Student-Athletes Announced to the CACC Academic Honor Roll

More honorees were announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference to its Academic Honor Roll with four from women's tennis and two from men's golf making the list.
 
The tennis unit saw Kristin Radeke (Bremen, Germany) make the list a third time with Andrea Fresneda (Valencia, Spain), Salome Lang (Panazol, France) and Maria Bruno (Maracay, Venezuela) each getting their second appearance.  The golf team witnessed Hunter McGee (Almonte, ON) and Pablo Saenz Avila (Bogota, Colombia) each honored a second time.
 
Radeke ended last season with 13 victories, primarily filling the spots at second singles and second doubles.  She got five of her singles victories in straight sets and teamed with Fresneda to post a three-match winning streak at second doubles.
 
Fresneda went on a roll in being tabbed second team All-CACC, highlighted by a 9-4 singles record that included an 8-0 start and a 7-0 mark in the fall with five of those wins coming in straight sets.  She also notched six doubles wins, pairing with Radeke for all of them.
 
Lang posted an 8-5 mark at first singles with five of those triumphs coming in straight sets and teamed with Bruno to get four wins at first doubles.  Bruno totaled five singles wins with all coming in straight sets, including a "double-bagel" October 16 at Post.
 
McGee continued his onslaught on the league being named to the All-CACC Team a third straight year and winning the league's individual title.  He finished the season ranked seventh in the East Region according to GolfStat, recorded six top-10 finishes and broke 75 eight times.
 
Saenz Avila also made a third consecutive appearance on the All-CACC Team and also amassed six top-10 finishes.  He ended his season ranked 26th in the East Region according to GolfStat, broke 75 five times and was closed 20th at the CACC Championship in helping Goldey-Beacom tie for the tournament's best score.
