Goldey-Beacom faced another difficult trip up north, falling 3-0 (10-25, 17-25, 19-25) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play at Georgian Court in Lakewood, NJ.
A .538 hitting percentage and 15 kills in the first set by the Lions allowed them to claim the first set. The Lightning battled in the final two sets, with seven kills in the second and eight kills in the third, but it was not enough to break the Lions run.

Shayla Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) recorded 11 kills with a .321 percentage and freshman
Nina Bongiovanni (San Tan Valley, AZ) totaled seven digs for the Lightning (2-27, 1-15 CACC).

Iciar Zayas dished 20 assists and notched 9 digs, Nylene Mateo finished with 17 kills and 11 digs, and Jessica Sprankle added seven digs for the Lions (11-17, 7-9).
