Goldey-Beacom was handed a 3-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss (26-24, 12-25, 20-25, 7-25) by Bridgeport before a 3-0 non-league setback (17-25, 18-25, 9-25) against West Chester at the Jones Center in Wilmington, DE.
Goldey-Beacom in the opening set forced Bridgeport into seven errors and a mere .146 hitting percentage. But the Purple Knights gained 36-17 kills edge over the final three sets to grab the match.
Senior Autumn Spendlove (Las Vegas, NV) recorded 28 assists, sophomore Piper Nanouski (Ottawa, IL) had 11 kills, senior Shayla Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) notched 10 with junior Rachel Cohen (Port Deposit, MD) getting 18 digs for the Lightning (0-23, 0-11 CACC).
Marissa Mullins got 17 kills, Lucia Tomiello had 13 and Jaden Drollinger dished 39 assists for the Purple Knights (9-16, 8-5).
The final match saw West Chester own a .688 hitting percentage in the final set that included 11 kills and no errors over 16 attacks. The Golden Rams had a 37-27 kills advantage for the match.
Spendlove notched 24 assists and now has 2,166 for her career, moving into second place in school history. First place is held by Olivia Florence, who notched 2,473 from 2015-18.

Hailey Lewis had 11 kills and Jamie Byrne amassed 21 assists for the Golden Knights (16-6).
West Chester got a 3-0 win (25-22, 25-23, 26-24) over Bridgeport in the neutral-site match.
Goldey-Beacom on Thursday is home against Cheyney for a 7:00 pm match.
