Another Monday produced two more on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll with Nazim Derry (Atlantic City, NJ) getting on the Men's Basketball list a fifth time and fellow sophomore Briana Seltzer (Reading, PA) making her fifth appearance this season among the Women's Basketball honorees.

Derry averaged 24.0 points over two games last week to go with seven 3-pointers, four assists, four steals and three rebounds.  He poured in 34 points to go with six 3-pointers and two rebounds Sunday at Dominican (NY).  Derry also had 14 points Wednesday at Georgian Court in Goldey-Beacom's 68-65 victory.

Derry has been a force all season for the squad at guard, scoring at least 30 points five times that includes a career-best 35 points December 1 against Georgian Court.  He made history Sunday by reaching 100 career 3-pointers and is just five shy of the 10th spot in team history, held by Goldey-Beacom Athletics Hall of Famer Derek Savage.

Derry is ninth in the country with 3.56 three-pointers per game (first in the CACC), 12th with 64 three-pointers (first in the CACC), 38th with 37 steals (first in the CACC), 47th with 35.5 minutes per contest, 48th with a .421 three-point percentage, 49th with 2.06 steals per game, 56th with 348 points and 58th with 19.3 points per contest.

This has Goldey-Beacom (10-8, 6-3 CACC) one-half game behind Chestnut Hill (7-3) for second place in the CACC South Division and a home quarterfinal game in the conference tournament.

Seltzer averaged 15.0 points over two games.  She scored 18 points Wednesday at Georgian Court before netting 12 Sunday at Dominican (NY).

Seltzer is a major part of the Lightning's backcourt and her solid shooting has enabled her to score at least 20 points four times this season.  She also is averaging 17.0 points over her last five contests and earlier this season netted a career-best 27 points November 23 at Shippensburg.

Seltzer is second in the league with 36 three-pointers, fifth with 15.1 points per game, sixth with an .813 free throw percentage, ninth with 91 field goals and 16th with a .321 three-point percentage.

Both teams are in action Wednesday at home against Chestnut Hill with the women's game starting at 6:00 pm and the men's contest beginning at 8:00 pm.
