Goldey-Beacom received more awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with sophomores Nazim Derry (Atlantic City, NJ) and Briana Seltzer (Reading, PA) each being named to the league's Weekly Honor Roll.

Derry averaged 21.5 points on 44 percent shooting and 7.5 rebounds over two games to go with four steals and three assists.  He netted a career-best 31 points on 12-of-21 shooting with nine rebounds, three assists and three steals Tuesday in Goldey-Beacom's 84-75 win over Bloomsburg.  Derry then had 12 points, six rebounds and a steal Sunday vs. Kutztown.

It has been a remarkable start to the young season for Derry, who has played a massive role for the squad on both sides of the court.  He is 29th in the country (first in the CACC) with 29 three-pointers, 41st with 44 field goals, 42nd with 119 points, 44th with 3.17 three-pointers per game, 50th with 217 minutes, 57th with 12 steals and 62nd with 19.8 points per game.

Three times this season he has scored at least 24 points, all being career highs at that moment.  He netted 24 points November 14 vs. Southern Connecticut State and 30 three days later at Saint Thomas Aquinas before his outing Sunday.

It is the third consecutive week Derry has made the Weekly Honor Roll.

Seltzer averaged 21.0 points on 42 percent shooting to go with six 3-pointers, six assists and three steals over two games.  She poured in a season-best 27 points to go with five assists, three 3-pointers and three steals Tuesday at Shippensburg.  Seltzer also had 15 points and three 3-pointers Sunday at Bowie State.

Seltzer has been on a tear the last four games, averaging 16.8 points that also includes netting 14 points November 13 against Saint Rose.

She is second in the league with a .923 free throw percentage (12-for-13), ninth with a .407 three-point percentage (11-of-27) and 12th with 14.2 points per contest.
