Volleyball Handed 3-0 Loss at University of the Sciences



Goldey-Beacom went into its match against a competitive squad in the University of the Sciences and was dealt a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference setback (13-25, 22-25, 22-25) in Philadelphia.
 
The Devils in the first set took control with an 18-4 kills advantage, committing just two errors for a .485 hitting percentage.  The home side ended with a 48-22 advantage, hitting .266.
 
Senior Neyshlian Roman Concepcion (Toa Baja, PR) closed with 23 digs, freshman Rylen Carroll (Monroe, OH) dished 16 assists with junior Shayla Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) recording nine kills for GBC (7-18, 3-12 CACC).

Boyce now stands at 963 career kills, keeping her fourth in program annals.
 
Tori Wright ended with 23 kills and a .455 percentage, Natalia Velez notched 10 kills with Angeli Roman Medina getting 24 assits and 16 digs for USciences (7-11, 7-8).
 
Goldey-Beacom is home Friday against Post.  Please note that match is a 6:00 pm start.
