Goldey-Beacom lost one on the road Saturday to Nyack College, 1-0, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup in Secaucus, NJ.
It was a back-and-forth battle for both teams as each struggled to see the ball land in the next during the first half.
The Warriors in the 53rd minute took a 1-0 lead off an unassisted goal from Alex Gazzoni. The Lightning were unable to net a goal, however, as they were held to a total of nine shots, four on goal in the effort.
Junior Pedro Santolaya (Madrid, Spain) recorded seven saves for the Lightning.
Goldey-Beacom hosts Georgian Court University on Wednesday starting at 3:30 PM.
