Goldey-Beacom had one slip away at home on Wednesday, falling 2-1 to Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup at Sawin Field.
The Lightning took a 1-0 lead in the first half after a goal landed inside net, hitting the right post from sophomore Tumi Sekhampu (Midrand, South Africa) off a 20-yard cross field pass from junior Eduardo Coimbra (Curitiba, Brazil) in the 40th minute.
The Lions tied the game at the 67th minute off a header by Francisco Corral, assisted on a cross by David Wilson, 1-1. Wilson was able to net the lead lifting goal in the 73rd minute off a cross field pass from Louis Silva for the 2-1 win.
Freshman Zander Omans (Camden, Del.) recorded five saves for the Lightning.
Goldey-Beacom travels on Friday to Orangeburg, NY as they face Dominican (NY) College starting at 2 PM.
