Volleyball Falls, 3-0, to University of the Sciences



Goldey-Beacom played solidly throughout against University of the Sciences, but was dealt a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss (21-25, 17-25, 22-25) at the Jones Center in Wilmington, DE.
 
The Devils began to take control in the second set with a 13-8 kills edge, helping their own cause with a .312 hitting percentage and just three errors.  USciences then held a 12-9 advantage in the final set and limited GBC to only a .026 percentage.
 
Senior Neyshlian Roman Concepcion (Toa Baja, PR) again continued her impressive play with 26 digs, freshman Rylen Carroll (Monroe, OH) had 24 assists, senior Courtney Bublitz (North East, MD) recorded 10 digs with junior Shayla Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) and freshman Piper Nanouski (Ottawa, IL) attaining nine kills apiece for GBC (6-11, 2-5 CACC).
 
Natalia Velez had 10 kills and a .321 percentage, Angeli Roman Media and Caelin Jaskot notched 15 assists apiece with Lauren Lim getting 14 digs for the Devils (3-5, 3-3).
 
Goldey-Beacom is home Saturday against Caldwell, beginning at noon.
