Goldey-Beacom fell on the road Saturday, 3-0 to Bloomfield College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate College matchup in Bloomfield, NJ.
The Bears controlled the offense, taking a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute on a goal from Yefry Rodriguez on an assist from Issac Levi Rodriguez, leaving the Lightning scoreless in the first half.
In the 67th minute, the Bears extended their lead, 2-0 with a goal from Ajoma Smith on an assist from Allan Rodriguez and Quincy Baal.
The Bears sealed their victory in the 71st minute with a final goal from Allan Marquez, assisted by Smith for the 3-0 win.
Freshman Zander Omans (Camden, Del.) recorded five saves for the Lightning.
Goldey-Beacom is back in action on Tuesday, hosting Jefferson University starting at 3 PM.
