Goldey-Beacom gained a 2-0 victory on the road on Friday over Dominican (NY) College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup in Orangeburg, NY. 
Both teams played solid defense, preventing the other from scoring in the first half. The Lightning found their way in goal at the 66th minute when junior Melayna Immediato (Hockessin, Del.) netted an unassisted goal, to the lift the Lighting up 1-0. Immediato sits at five goals on the season, fifteen in her career being a key player for the Lightning. 
The Chargers were unable to stop the drive in the 85th minute when a goal from freshman Alex Lowry (Wenonah, NJ) netted in off a pass from Immediato, shot into the bottom left corner, Lowry's first goal of the season, lifting the Lightning to a 2-0 victory.  
Sophomore Noel Talbott (Westminster, MD) recorded four goals for the Lightning.  
Goldey-Beacom has some time to rest as they host Felician University on Saturday, October 23rd at Noon.
