Five-Timers Club: Marcellus Livingston Picked to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll

Goldey-Beacom junior Marcellus Livingston (Linden, NJ) placed himself in a familiar spot by being picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for the fifth time this season.

Livingston closed with 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting with six rebounds, three assists and two steals Saturday in Goldey-Beacom's 94-67 rout of Bloomfield. He also made history by becoming the 11th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points.

Once again proving his scoring prowess, Livingston has put up big numbers and has the Lightning right back in contention in the CACC. He is 93rd in the country with 18.3 points per game, 70th with 1.93 steals per contest, ninth in the CACC with 29 steals, 11th with 33.1 minutes per game and 16th with 37 three-pointers.

Livingston is 11th in school history with 1,016 career points and fifth with 140 career 3-pointers.

Goldey-Beacom (9-11, 6-5 CACC) is aiming for a fourth straight trip to the CACC Tournament after making the semifinals each of the last two seasons and winning the South Division in 2018. GBC is a full game ahead of Georgian Court (5-6) for second place in the CACC South Division with the top two teams in each of the two divisions hosting a conference quarterfinal.

Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday visits University of the Sciences for a 7:30 pm, which follows the women's 5:30 pm game between the same schools.
