More accolades came rolling in for Goldey-Beacom's basketball programs with junior Marcellus Livingston (Linden, NJ) picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll and sophomore Alexis Harrison (Millville, NJ) gaining the same honor for Women's Basketball.

It is the sixth time this season Livingston has earned this award and the second time Harrison has been presented this honor.

Livingston averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals over two games.  He scored 23 points Saturday to go with three rebounds, three 3-pointers, three steals and two steals in Goldey-Beacom's 87-60 victory over Concordia (NY).  Livingston also had 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals Tuesday in his squad's 78-64 win at University of the Sciences.

Livingston once again is in the conversation as one of the area's elite.  He is 61st in the country with 1.94 steals per game, third in the league with 18.3 points per contest, ninth with 113 field goals, 12th with 32.6 minutes per game, 16th with 41 three-pointers and 17th with a .759 free throw percentage.

Among the college best, Livingston is 11th in school history with 1,053 career points and fourth with 144 career 3-pointers.

This has played a major factor in Goldey-Beacom (11-11, 8-5 CACC) sitting in second place in the CACC South Division, two games in front of third-place Georgian Court.  The top two teams in each of the two divisions host a quarterfinal game in the conference tournament, which begins March 3.

Harrison continued her unbelievable play in the post, averaging 16.0 points on 14-of-20 shooting, 10.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over two games.  She ended Saturday with 16 points and 10 rebounds to go with two blocks in Goldey-Beacom's 67-54 win vs. Concordia (NY).  Harrison also had 16 points and seven rebounds Tuesday at No. 19 University of the Sciences.

Harrison has enjoyed a standout campaign to date in which she is 26th in the CACC with 10.8 points per game, second with a .511 field goal percentage, eighth with 24 blocks, 12th with 6.5 rebounds per contest and 19th with 93 field goals.

Her five doubles-doubles this season all are within the last six contests and she has scored in double figures 11 times, helping the Lightning to five victories in their last six games.  She is sixth in school history with 66 career blocks.

Both teams are in action Wednesday at Holy Family with the women's game at 5:30 pm and the men's contest at 7:30 pm.
