Another great week on the court for Goldey-Beacom saw senior guard Amanda McGrogan (Mount Laurel, NJ) picked the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week and junior guard Marcellus Livingston (Linden, NJ) named to the Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

McGrogan had a monster week by averaging 23.5 points on 12-of-24 shooting, 8.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds over two games.  She scored 23 points Tuesday, including 19 in the fourth quarter in which she went 13-for-14 from the line, in Goldey-Beacom's 66-58 win at Georgian Court.  McGrogan then recorded 24 points and nine rebounds, including 11 points in the third quarter and nine in the fourth, during Goldey-Beacom's 75-59 triumph Saturday at Felician.

One of the area's elite players and competitors, McGrogan continues to be a major factor with her intuitive skills and overall team play to help the Lightning on their current three-game winning streak.  She is 95th in the country with 70 assists, seventh in the CACC with 15.3 points per game, fourth with a .808 free throw percentage, seventh with a .393 three-point percentage and 17th with 26 steals.

McGrogan, who last year was picked second team All-CACC and to the CACC All-Tournament Team, this season has reached at least 20 points six times.  She is 10th in school history with 1,173 career points, third with 313 assists, seventh with 102 three-pointers, seventh with 281 free throws, ninth with 395 field goals and 10th with 119 steals.

Livingston averaged 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds over two games with eight 3-pointers.  He went off Tuesday at Georgian Court with 27 points, 12 rebounds and five 3-pointers in Goldey-Beacom's 69-64 triumph.  Livingston also had 14 points and seven rebounds Saturday at Felician.

Livingston once again has been a tremendous offensive threat and continues to be a vital part of the team's success.  He is fourth in the league with 18.2 points per game, 16th with 35 three-pointers, 18th with a .760 free throw percentage and 28th with 5.4 rebounds per contest.

Also among the College's elite, Livingston is 11th in program history with 997 career points and fifth with 138 three-pointers.

Both teams are home Saturday against Bloomfield with the women going at 1:00 pm and the men at 3:00 pm.
