Alexis Harrison Picked to CACC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Goldey-Beacom sophomore Alexis Harrison (Millville, NJ) continues to be a dominant player in the post and today was picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
 
Harrison averaged 16.5 points on 13-of-18 shooting, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over two games.  She amassed 17 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks Saturday in Goldey-Beacom's 84-55 rout of Nyack.  This came after Harrison recorded 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting Wednesday at Jefferson.
 
Harrison this season has continued her standout play in sitting ninth in the CACC with a .477 field goal percentage, ninth with 16 blocks, 20th with 5.3 rebounds per contest and 33rd with 9.3 points per game.  She has scored in double figures six times this season, including her last three games in which she is averaging 17.0 points per contest.
 
Harrison last year recorded a .529 field goal percentage for the best single-season mark in team history and is tied for eighth in team history with 58 career blocks.
 
Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday faces Georgian Court in Lakewood, NJ.  Game time is at 6:00 pm, followed by the men's contest at 8:00 pm.
