The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has released the Women's Basketball preseason poll and Goldey-Beacom was picked to close 10th.
Goldey-Beacom hosts a tip-off tournament November 13-14, opening with D'Youville on the 13th and Southern New Hampshire the next day. Its third straight home game is November 18 vs. Saint Thomas Aquinas.
The CACC opener will be a difficult one with Goldey-Beacom on November 24 visiting Felician, the reigning league champion. Its home opener in the league is December 2 vs. Wilmington (DE).
GBC ends December with non-league games at Staten Island on the 18th and vs. Shippensburg on the 30th.
A tough game will take place January 19 with Goldey-Beacom visiting Holy Family, which last season won the NCAA East Region title. Four days later is the return encounter at home with Felician.
GBC on February 16 hosts Holy Family and on February 27 closes the regular season at Caldwell.
For the second straight season, each team faces each conference opponent twice. Eight teams go to the conference tournament with the quarterfinals on March 2 and championship weekend March 6-7 at Holy Family University.
Goldey-Beacom last season made its second straight appearance on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
