Fannon Breaks Single-Season Goals Mark in Women’s Soccer’s 11-0 Rout at Lincoln

Senior Jenna Fannon (Newark, DE) scored four goals to become Goldey-Beacom's single-season leader and junior Line Kristoffersen (Bergen, Norway) also put four in the back of the net, leading their squad to an 11-0 triumph at Lincoln (PA) in Lincoln University, PA.

Fannon got the record out of the way in the sixth minute to open the scoring, breaking a tie with Alex Smith (2011) and Renee Brechter (2002).  In the 12th minute, she completed a natural hat trick to give the Lightning a 3-0 lead.

Sophomore Melayna Immediato (Hockessin, DE) completed a first-half brace as the Lightning opened a 5-0 halftime lead.  GBC had a 21-2 shots edge in the half.

Fannon's career-best goals also were accompanied by two assists for a 10-point night.  Her 33 career goals now are tied with Alex Smith (2011-14) for the most in team history, her 79 points are tied for third and her 13 assists are tied for eighth.

Fannon also has a point in 10 of her last 11 contests and a goal in nine of her last 11 matches.
