Former MBB Standout Elijah Tillman Signs Pro Contract in Spain

Elijah Tillman (Garnerville, NY) enjoyed a prosperous basketball career during his time with Goldey-Beacom that will carry to the professional ranks with Basquet Sitges of the EBA League in Spain.

Tillman begins his time just outside Barcelona after he was a dominant force in the paint for parts of two seasons for the Lightning. He ended his career second in school history with a .584 shooting percentage and eighth with 43 blocks.

Tillman will best be remembered for hitting a 65-foot shot at the buzzer that brought Goldey-Beacom to an incredible 71-68 overtime victory November 22, 2016 at University of the Sciences. The shot drew national acclaim by finishing 10th on ESPNs top plays of the day.

He finished his career averaging 10.8 points and 7.8 rebounds over 32 games.
