Corey Taite and Amanda McGrogan Again Make the CACC Weekly Honor Roll

This may sound like a broken record, but the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced for a second straight week that Goldey-Beacom Men's Basketball senior Corey Taite (Sayreville, NJ) and Women's Basketball junior Amanda McGrogan (Mount Laurel, NJ) each were picked to their sport's Weekly Honor Roll.

It is Taite's third Honor Roll mention this season in addition to him being picked the league's Player of the Week on November 19. It is McGrogan's second Honor Roll tab for the campaign.

Taite scored 36 points on 10-of-24 shooting, went 14-for-15 from the line and also had eight rebounds, five assists and two steals Wednesday at Adelphi.

Still on a stirring pace to own many school records, Taite is second in school history with 1,371 points, second with 299 assists, second with 368 free throws, second with 422 field goals, third with 178 steals and third with 159 three-pointers.

McGrogan averaged 13.0 points, 5.3 assists, 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 steals over three games. She played a big part in Tuesday's 65-54 victory over Lincoln with 22 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and shot 12-for-14 from the line. McGrogan also had 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals Thursday against Bridgeport.

McGrogan is nearing the school's top 10 list as she has 157 career assists and 55 three-pointers.

Both teams are home Tuesday against Georgian Court for a CACC doubleheader. The women's game is at 6:00 pm and the men go at 8:00 pm.
