Freshman Nicholas Ladeira (Johannesburg, South Africa) scored on a header in the 92nd minute to give Goldey-Beacom a 1-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference win over Post at Nancy Churchman Sawin Field in Wilmington, DE.

Ladeira headed the ball into the back of the net for his third goal of the season came off a left-footed cross from senior Artur Zvinchuk (Bonn, Germany).

The Eagles (3-6, 2-3 CACC) became doomed once they were penalized with two red cards, which helped the Lightning (8-3, 4-2 CACC) to a 22-4 edge in shots.

Junior Suhail Bismilla (Johannesburg, South Africa) notched his eighth career shutout, one off the school record held by Peter Ferrente (2002).  Bismilla reeled in three saves including one crucial ball before the end of the second half.

Sophomore Levi Maruca (Downingtown, PA) and senior Mateus Silvestre (Picarras, Brazil) each took four shots.

Goldey-Beacom plays its next match at Jefferson on Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
