In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Lightning scored two runs to even the score at four. Starting shortstop, Justin Hill (freshman from Seaford, Del.), smacked an RBI double to left-center field and eventually ran the bases well enough to score himself on a passed ball.

The Lightning had the final say scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.Â
After CJ Wood (senior from Newark, Del.) scored on a groundout from Tevin Thomas (freshman from Dover, Del.), Calvin Clark was up to bat. With runners on second and third base, Clark (sophomore from Millville, N.J.) hit a two-run RBI single to put the Lightning up 7-6.Â
