Goldey-Beacom Women's Soccer flourished on senior day during its 6-2 CACC victory over Dominican (NY), continuing their undefeated streak on newly renovated Nancy Churchman Sawin Field.
The Lightning (10-3-1, 8-2 CACC) started the day hot with freshman Alanna Speaks (Wilmington, DE) recognizing the goalkeeper's disposition and scoring in the third minute.
Senior Amy Runciman (Luton, England) played spectacularly scoring two goals in the 38th and 87th minute, giving her seven total scores on the season.
Junior Cliona Crammond (Wicklow, Ireland) rode the Lightning wave early into the second half with a goal in the 49th minute off a corner kick from Runciman.
Senior Elena Power (Glassboro, NJ) placed a beautiful cross to Speaks for her 12th goal of the season in the 50th minute.
Crammond sealed the Chargers (2-11, 2-8) fate scoring a long strike off the goalkeeper's hands in the 67th minute for her seventh goal of the season.
Dominican (NY) received goals from Kevina Shaley (44th minute) and Taylor Calero (53rd minute).
Goldey-Beacom plays its next match versus Holy Family at Nancy Churchman Sawin Field. Last year's CACC quarterfinal rematch will start at 3:00 pm on Wednesday.
