Grace McCarthy Named to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

Senior Grace McCarthy (Middletown, DE) is coming off another outstanding week and was rewarded by being picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll for volleyball.

McCarthy ended the week with 31 kills, 20 digs, two blocks, two aces and a .301 hitting percentage over two matches. She had 15 kills and 11 digs Wednesday against Holy Family before getting 16 kills, nine digs and a .424 hitting percentage Saturday at University of the Sciences.

McCarthy is seventh in the country and first in the CACC with 0.59 aces per set, 17th in the nation and first in the league with 47 aces, seventh in the conference with 3.45 kills per set and seventh with 4.1 points per set.

She is third in school history with 893 kills, tied for ninth with 96 aces and her 276 kills this season place her seven off the school's top-10 list. It is her third selection to the Weekly Honor Roll as she was honored on September 12 and October 10.

Goldey-Beacom is on the road Tuesday at Philadelphia University for a 6:00 pm match.
