Goldey-Beacom's Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) had an incredible debut campaign and deservedly was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Year as well as third team all-league.

Przywara made an incredible impact upon her arrival and seemingly never left the floor at any point during a match.  A dominating player and a solid competitor, she is the first in the program's history to be tabbed Rookie of the Year.

Przywara is 50th in the country with 3.72 kills per set, 65th with 4.17 points per set, sixth in the CACC with 331 kills and 10th with 371 points.  She recorded six double-doubles this season, notched a season-best 29 kills October 25 against Georgian Court and 14 digs vs. Georgian Court on October 14 and Wilmington (DE) five days later.

This certainly is not Przywara's first or last award.  She was named CACC Rookie of the Week three times (October 10, 24 and 31) and was picked the league's Player of the Week on consecutive occasions (October 24 and 31).

Przywara's 331 kills this year are the seventh-best single-season mark in school history and her 917 attacks are fourth.

Goldey-Beacom (11-15, 6-13 CACC) took huge strides this season under first-year coach Bob Trinsey, recording four more victories than last year both overall and in the conference.  The squad has 11 underclassmen on the roster.
