Volleyball Notches 3-0 Win at Felician



Goldey-Beacom once again got a solid, all-around performance in leaving Rutherford, NJ with a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory (25-19, 25-21, 25-22) at Felician.
 
The Lightning in the first set racked up an incredible 18 kills and a .571 hitting percentage with freshman Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) getting eight kills.  GBC in the third set recorded 13 kills and a .258 percentage to close the match.
 
Przywara, the reigning CACC Player and Rookie of the Week, had 17 kills and just two errors over 33 swings for a .455 percentage to go with eight digs for the Lightning (10-12, 5-10 CACC).
 
Senior Grace McCarthy (Middletown, DE) had 14 kills and 11 digs for her fifth double-double of the year, sophomore Olivia Florence (Glen Allen, VA) notched 33 assists and freshman Makinsie Balderson (Fairfax, VA) amassed 10 digs.
 
Charlotte Greek dished 20 assists, Paulina Calero had 10 kills and Lanyse Castro recorded 11 digs for the Golden Falcons (0-25, 0-15).
  
Goldey-Beacom is home next Wednesday against Holy Family, beginning at 7:00 pm.
