Volleyball Handed 3-0 Loss by West Chester



Goldey-Beacom ran into a buzzsaw in West Chester and was dealt a 3-0 loss (7-25, 5-25, 13-25) in West Chester, PA.
 
The Golden Rams closed the match with a 36-18 kills advantage and an astonishing .456 hitting percentage.  West Chester over the first two sets recorded a combined 22-8 kills edge with just three errors.
 
Sophomore Olivia Florence (Glen Allen, VA) dished 17 assists one night after becoming the fifth player in school history to reach 1,000 career assists.  Senior Grace McCarthy (Middletown, DE) had eight kills and freshman Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) amassed seven digs for the Lightning (4-6).
 
Karleigh Lutz notched eight kills and Jillian Grammer recorded 31 assists for the Golden Rams (13-4).
 
Goldey-Beacom is on the road Tuesday at Millersville for a 7:00 pm match.
