Cross Country Squads End Season at the NCAA East Regional

Goldey-Beacom's cross county teams lowered the curtain on the 2015 campaign after seeing five of its student-athletes compete at the NCAA East Regional in Hopkinton, NH.

Leading the charge for GBC was senior Aaron Easter (Elkton, MD), the three-time All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference performer who competed in his final race for the Lightning. The ninth-place finisher at the conference meet ended today 63rd in 33:58.7, averaging 5:28 per mile.

Senior Logan Jones (Frederick, MD), who also was an all-conference pick by ending 14th, closed today 73rd in 34:18.8 in his final race. Sophomore Victor Rueda-Jimenez (Milford, DE) over the 10,000-meter trail finished 83rd in 34:48.8 and junior Rudy Braxton (Bear, DE) was 124th in 36:15.3.

Sophomore Jordan Dodson (Port Deposit, MD) was the Lightning's sole female competitor, ending 101st in 24:54.1 over the 6,000-meter course. She was coming off a 21st-place showing at the CACC Championship.
