Lexi Bruno and Shakeem Wilson Picked to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

Outstanding performances each for Goldey-Beacom sophomore Lexi Bruno (Millville, NJ) and junior Shakeem Wilson (Brooklyn, NY) have landed each a spot on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
 
Bruno earns her second straight honor-roll nod after last week averaging 15.3 points, 5.3 assists and 4.7 rebounds over three games.  She had 18 points, six rebounds and five assists Tuesday against Bloomsburg before getting 19 points, six assists and four rebounds Saturday vs. New York Tech.
 
Last year's CACC Rookie of the Year and second team All-CACC performer, Bruno is 10th in the league with 15.4 points per game, third with 5.6 assists per game, 23rd with a .407 shooting percentage and tied for 14th with 1.8 three-pointers per contest.  Her 74 career 3-pointers have her seventh in school history and 174 assists place her ninth.
 
Wilson averaged 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists over two games, shooting 74 percent (14-of-19) from the floor with five 3-pointers.  He scored a season-best 28 points Friday against Saint Thomas Aquinas, going 8-of-8 from the floor, 4-of-4 from three-point range and 8-for-9 from the foul line.  Wilson came back the next day with 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting with six rebounds vs. Dowling.
 
Wilson is tied for fifth in the league with 19.0 points per game, second outright with 7.5 free throws made per contest, third with a .615 three-point percentage, sixth with a .576 shooting percentage, tied for 13th with 2.0 three-pointers per game, 17th with a .789 free throw percentage and tied for 18th with 2.8 assists per contest.
 
The women's squad is home Tuesday for its league opener vs. University of the Sciences, starting at 6:00 pm.  The men are on the road Monday for an exhibition game at Division I Morgan State, beginning at 7:00 pm.
