Lexi Bruno Picked to CACC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Goldey-Beacom sophomore Lexi Bruno (Millville, NJ) picked up where she left off from last season, named today to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

Bruno made the all-tournament team at the Assumption Tip-Off Classic, averaging 15.5 points and 6.0 assists over two games. She scored 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting Friday against No. 1 regionally ranked Stonehill before getting eight points and eight assists Saturday vs. Assumption.

It is just another honor for Bruno, who last season was the league's Rookie of the Year and also was picked second team all-conference. She also was the Rookie of the Week four times, picked to the Honor Roll four times and made the league's all-tournament team.

Bruno last season broke the school's single-season records with 65 three-pointers and 146 assists, ended 24th in the country with a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, 26th with 5.0 assists per game, 55th with a .380 three-point percentage, 78th with 2.24 three-pointers per contest and 96th with 16.1 points per game.

Goldey-Beacom is home Tuesday against Bloomsburg, starting at 6:00 pm.
