The Lightning took a 1-0 lead with 1:36 remaining in the first half when Semenza took a pass from freshman Natalie Waltz (Conestoga Valley H.S./Leola, Pa.) and scored her first goal of the season.

Semenza extended the Lightning advantage to 2-0 in the 62nd minute by scoring her second goal off an assist from sophomore Jane Grimley (Delsea Regional H.S./Franklinville, N.J.) before adding her third goal of the match just over three minutes later after receiving a pass from junior forward Megan Harvis (Delran H.S./Delran, N.J.).

The Warriors ended the Lightning's shutout bid with 17:30 remaining when junior defender Danielle Page (London, England) scored her first goal of the season off an assist from sophomore midfielder Katherine Oldfield (Bolton, England).

With 9:31 left in the second half, senior forward Alexandra Smith (Pennsville Memorial H.S./Pennsville, N.J.) upped the Lightning lead to 4-1 before Harvis added a goal with 5:25 remaining.

Making her second straight start, junior goalkeeper Valarie Orth (Schalick H.S./Pittsgrove, N.J.) made one save for the Lightning, who held the Warriors to just five shots.
