PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Senior outside hitter
Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.) recorded a match-high 15 kills and added nine digs, but it was not enough as Chestnut Hill College (5-6, 2-1) handed Goldey-Beacom College its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss of the season with a three-set decision at Sorgenti Arena on Tuesday evening.
The Griffins, who have won four of their last five matches, earned the victory by set scores of 25-23, 25-19 and 26-24.
While McCoy led the Lightning with 15 kills, junior setter
Danielle Cipolletti (Scottsdale H.S./Scottsdale, Ariz.) added a "double double" with 25 assists and 16 digs. Senior outside hitter
Taylor Moyer (Blue Mountain H.S./Schuylkill Haven, Pa.) contributed seven kills with seven digs.
Junior middle hitter
Rachel Biro (Nazareth Area H.S./Nazareth, Pa.) led the Griffins with 13 kills while adding eight digs. Sophomore outside hitter
Madison McBride (Robert A. Millikan H.S./Long Beach, Calif.) tallied 11 kills with six digs. Â
